Vinyasa Yoga is a creative and dynamic yoga style that has its origins in classical Ashtanga Yoga. Ashtanga Yoga is a very demanding traditional yoga style in which fixed asana series are practiced six times a week for up to 2 hours a day. Nowadays this style is hardly practicable for many people in the long run. Vinyasa Yoga is in a way the modern counterpart. In Vinyasa Yoga different asanas are combined in a flowing movement, thus creating a so-called flow. A creative and harmonious flow of movement. Body and breathing exercises up to meditation change the attitude towards the outside world. In the centre of Vinyasa Yoga are the asanas, the postures. They challenge both mentally and physically and strengthen concentration. The movement in meditation brings the participants to inner peace.
